If you're looking for a sign of summer, here it is! The ice cream trains start running on the Maine Narrow Gauge Railroad in Portland on June 9.

It's the perfect family outing, riding around the Portland peninsula on the same rails used by steam locomotives to carry passengers from Portland to Montreal Canada before the automobile took over.

The ride this June 9 at the Maine Narrow Gauge Railroad costs $8 for adults, $5 for kids which includes your train ticket and free ice cream. If you can't make it on June 9 catch an ice cream train again on June 23rd, July 14th, July 28th, August 11th, and August 25th. All aboard!
