Now in it's 16th year, the Camp Sunshine Pumpkin Festival will take place this Saturday at LL Bean.

10,000 pumpkins will line the streets of Freeport and the LL Bean campus tomorrow along with a full day of activities for the whole family.

The fun begins with live music from DJ Nate Hicks at 11am, followed by O.C. and the Offbeats at 2:45. Then Roxy By Proxy takes the stage at 4:30 and closing out the musical festivities is the Isaiah Bennett Trio at 6:30.

The Festival gets ramped up at noon with children's games like pumpkin bowling all day long and pumpkin carving for the whole family. The Cauldron Cafe will be open all day with tasty treats and make sure you stop by the boo-tique to find you festival gear.

There will also be demonstrations from the Mad Scientists of Maine, a costume parade with Miss Maine, followed by the lighting of the pumpkins. All ten thousand of them!
