Headed to the beach this summer? Now there is yet another thing to do at Old Orchard Beach.

Old Orchard Beach is totally packed and hopping. Tourists come from all over to enjoy all the sights, sounds, and fun that a little time chillin' by the water has to offer, and there is live music all summer long. I make at least one trip there every year, sometimes two, and it is always a good time.

2021 Concerts in the Ballpark is back for another year. These events are free and family-friendly. Every Thursday night in July and August, you can enjoy live music, right by the Atlantic Ocean.

There is a full concession stand stocked with all of your ballpark favorites, candy, soda, water, and ice-cold beer. Bringing in your own food and alcohol is prohibited. Parking and admission are free. They have picnic table seating, but you can bring your own blanket or chair to enjoy the tunes.

The concerts will run from 6:30 pm-8:00 pm, then you can make your way downtown for the 9:45 pm fireworks display. The Ballpark at OOB is located at 14 Emerson Cummings Boulevard.

Here is the lineup of shows:

July 15th-Delta Kings

July 22nd-Yellow Brick Road, A tribute to Elton John

July 29th-Quiet Riot Act

August 5th-Don Campbell

August 12th-Studio Two: Beatles Tribute Band

August 19th-Motor Booty Affair

August 25th-No Shoes Nation: Kenny Chesney Tribute Band

Summer is here, hit the beach, enjoy live music, and enjoy the fun of Old Orchard Beach!
