The 2019 Rochester Fair Will Be Better Than Ever Before

If you grew up in the Strafford County the Rochester Fair is not just an event, it is an institution! When the fair was canceled in 2017 people were DEVASTED. According to Fosters, the fair is going to be all kinds of awesome this year and shouldn't be going anywhere in the year 2020.

The schedule of events, which has been posted on RochesterFair.com includes:

• agricultural exhibitions and contests
• School bus and car derbies
• Circus Hollywood
• The Miss Rochester Fair Pageant
• horse pulling
• Pig racing (returning after a year off)
• Popular longtime vendors like Winfrey’s Fudge

Over the past few months, 50 volunteers have been hard at work repainting buildings and doing repairs to get the fairgrounds and its buildings ready for the big event!

The 143rd Rochester Fair will be happening Sept. 12-15 and Sept. 19-22.
