Taylor Swift and Brendon Urie Bring a Splash of Color to 2019 BBMAs With Live ‘Me!’ Debut
Taylor Swift and Brendon Urie of Panic! At The Disco delivered their debut performance of "Me!" at the 2019 Billboard Music Awards Wednesday Night (May 1).
The pair's performance began with a pink pastel marching band drum line. Swift appeared on the stage donning a glittery fringe one-piece leotard, while the dancers from her music video wore the same pastel pantsuits from the "Me!" music video. They held briefcases while dancing around, circling Swift.
A verse into the song, Urie literally flew down from the ceiling, floating on an umbrella, like a pastel Mary Poppins. The crowd rose to their feet. Urie and Swift welcomed the crowd to the BBMAs and introduced themselves mid-song.
Pyro filled the stage and Urie and Swift walked over to the B-stage to sit on their very own umbrella. The song ended with the performers flying over the crowd.

Swift was nominated at the BBMAs for Top Female Artist and Top Touring Artist this year. Urie's band was nominated for Top Duo/Group, Top Rock Artist, Top Rock Album for Pray For The Wicked, and Top Rock Song for "High Hopes."
