
Station Wagons; The Way Cars Used To Be
This morning I shared with you all that my family drove what most families in the 80's drove... a Station Wagon. And while I appreciate advances in modern technology, it seems like cars aren't quite as durable as they used to be.
For example, our family rode in that station wagon for nearly 8 years. Then, after we got a new family car, my dad entered that very same wagon into the demolition derby 3 years in a row and kicked all kinds of bumper [see what I did there?].
I guess the lesson here is... hmm, I didn't actually think that far ahead, but at the very least here's a fun picture of my dad in our family Station Wagon mid demolition derby! Go Dad!
