I am a HUGE ramen enthusiast. There are some days when all my heart wants is a big salty bowl of soup. Sodium levels be damned! Since moving to Portsmouth, I always just pop over the bridge to Kittery to Anju when I am craving ramen. It's a mere 10 minutes and really not a big deal. Unless of course you get stuck there while the bridge is up, then it turns into a whole thing. But I digress!

Last year I stumbled on this sign announcing a new restaurant called Chef Huang's Asian Kitchen. They will be opening on 2454 Lafayette Rd:

Asian fusion is my absolute jam. They will have everything from...

Crab Rangoons...

...Spicy Tuna Rolls...

Their goal was to open in the Fall of 2021, but sadly that did not happen. But judging by their most recent Facebook post, they are working really hard to get the restaurant customer-ready.

Check out how it's coming along:

I love how each table is elevated and sectioned off. It feels fancier and private that way!

Just like (seemingly) every other restaurant in the country, they are on the hunt for good workers! They are currently taking applications for hosts, servers, bartenders, bussers, etc.. If you know anyone who might be interested, tell them to forward their resume to ikkojobs@gmail.com.

Chef Huang's Asian Fusion will be hitting us with a GRAND OPENING date soon. We will keep you in the loop.
