John Legend's rendition of the classic Christmas song "Baby, It's Cold Outside," featuring Kelly Clarkson, is getting mixed reviews. It was rewritten in response to the criticism it has received for being inappropriate in today's #MeToo culture. Some people have even called the old version, originally sung by Dean Martin, a "date rape" song, because the male singer is being too aggressive in his attempt to get the female singer to stay at his place, all while giving her alcoholic drinks.

Legend's remake has new, politically correct lyrics that include "It’s your body, and your choice," and "I want you to stay, it's not up to me." On a positive note, the song has a jazzy vibe, with powerful vocals from both Legend and Clarkson. The tune showcases Clarkson's incredibly versatile voice.
