See Epic Snowmobile Stunts, Races at This Maine Winter Event in March
Winter in Maine
Winter in Maine can be a little harsh sometimes with the sun setting way too early and temperatures dipping to below freezing.
We spend the winter hearing the phrase “seasonal depression” getting tossed around and for good reason but there are also a lot of things to love about winter in Vacationland.
Not only does Maine host epic events throughout the winter but we are also home to unlimited recreational activities that can be experienced and enjoyed all winter long.
From snowshoeing to skiing, sledding to snowmobiling, there’s never a lack of things to do even when it’s bitterly cold outside.
I grew up snowmobiling and miss it so much. We have so much land and gorgeous landscapes to snowmobile through and I've always been so jealous of people who take long trips up North on their snowmobiles, it looks like a blast.
Maine SnowBowl 2023
Speaking of snowmobiling, there’s an epic event coming up next week in Caribou.
From March 2-5, events will be happening all weekend centered around the winter sport of snowmobiling.
The SnowBowl in Caribou will be Maine’s largest snowmobile event of the year with a kick-off party at Evergreens Lanes, monster truck rides, Snowcross racing on Spud Speedway, vintage snowmobile shows, Snowcross freestyle shows from Rave X, fireworks, a casino and restaurant night, the list goes on.

This looks like it’s going to be one hell of a weekend so if you’re in that area, you should definitely go check it out.
Oh, and it’s FREE!
