Seashore Trolley Museum in Kennebunkport, Maine, Running Dinosaur Trolley
Ever since Jurassic Park hit theaters in the summer of 1993, kids have been fascinated by the long-extinct dinosaurs. Through the use of groundbreaking CGI that no one had ever seen the likes of before, we finally got a feel for what we think dinosaurs looked, sounded, and acted like millions of years ago.
Now kids and adults alike can experience a ride on a Dino Trolley at the Seashore Trolley Museum in Kennebunkport for two weekends this summer on June 24 and 25 and again on August 12 and 13.
While you ride the trolley over the 3.7-mile round trip over a track that travels through heavily wooded areas, be on the lookout for 2D dinosaurs lurking nearby and see if you can spot all twenty of them. Don't worry. They won't attack.
Admission is $13 per person with children 2 and under admitted for free. It includes museum admission, the dino trolley ride, and events back at the visitor's center like the Dino Big Dig, where you search for dinosaur bones hidden in an archeological dig site which is just a really big sandbox, but don't tell the kids that.
Kids can search for dinosaur eggs across the Seashore Trolley Museum campus and redeem them for prizes.
And that's just a few of the fun events that will be happening on the two Dino Trolley weekends. If you have kids or grandkids who love dinosaurs, then this is the event for you. Get more info and order tickets from Eventbrite, before tickets are extinct...er...sold out.
