This Candle-Making Spot in Maine is So Worth It

Okay, we have to tell you about this spot because it’s one of those “why didn’t we think of this sooner?” kind of things. If you are visiting Freeport, Maine you must visit this place called, Sea Love Candle Bar and Boutique.

It is a candle-making experience but in a way that is actually really fun, not a craft you regret halfway through it. You know what I mean.  

So you walk in and right away you will choose from a ton of scents, like over 100, which sounds very exciting, until you realize you can’t make a decision.

But they help you. So then, you pick your jar, and the lovely people will walk you through blending your own scent and pouring the candle!

But here’s the thing, at Sea Love Candle Bar you can do this with your girls for a night out or you can bring your kids! Whether it be a slumber party or a birthday get together, your kids will love this! 

Yes they have kid’s candle making events!

You’ll find that you’re kiddos are oddly into it, like focused and of course will feel super proud of themselves afterwards.  

It’s one of those rare activities where no one is asking for a snack every five minutes. 

But, if you go with your girls, completely different vibe. It turns into a chill girls night, where you’re laughing, and doing something that doesn’t involve rushing around or spending tons of money.  

It only takes about 30–45 minutes, and then your candle sets while you go walk around the lovely Freeport!
