The world's largest Christmas tree that's made of lobster traps is in Rockland, Maine, according to Visit Maine.net. The annual lighting of the tree has become a Rockland tradition. It takes place in Downtown Rockland on Friday, November 29th, 2019. Santa will flip the switch at 6 p.m. after he arrives in style in a big red fire truck.

The Lobster Trap Christmas Tree is just one of the many fun events during the annual Rockland Festival of Lights Celebration, which starts on November 29th and runs through December 1st. There's also caroling, horse-drawn carriage rides and the Parade of Lights.
