Chuck Barris, the creator of several iconic game shows, has reportedly passed away at his New York home, according to Fox News. He was 87 and died of natural causes, as per his publicist. He created and hosted the “Gong Show.” He was also the creative force behind "The Dating Game" and "The Newlywed Game."

In his later life, Barris also wrote a book called "Bad Grass Never Dies."
