Check your refrigerator. There’s a recall for ground beef due to possible E. coli contamination, according to USA Today. It was mostly sold at Walmart stores nationwide, including retail stores in New England, under the Marketside Butcher brand. The meat comes from Lakeside Refrigerated Services.

The Department of Agriculture’s Food Safety and Inspection Service issued the Class I alert over the weekend. Around 43,000 pounds of ground beef are a part of this recall, as per USA Today. The report defines Class I as a "health hazard situation where there is a reasonable probability that the use of the product will cause serious, adverse health consequences or death."
