There are events you attend, and then there are moments you feel for the rest of your life. That’s exactly what Pride Portland! was for me when I went, last year.

The Parade will take place in  Portland at Congress Street & Deering Oaks Park on Saturday, June 20, 2026, kicking off at 11:30 AM. The celebration continues immediately after with the Pride Portland!

Festival beginning at 12:00 PM.

Before I was officially launched into 949HOM Morning Show, I had the honor of being part of the celebration alongside Lori Voornas, right before she handed me the mic and I can still feel that electric energy today.

Thousands of people lined the streets of Portland, Maine, smiling, dancing, hugging, cheering, and celebrating one another without judgment. It wasn’t just a parade.

Everything You Need To Know About Portland Pride Parade

It was a reminder of what community is supposed to feel like: equal, welcoming, joyful, and unapologetically alive.

The atmosphere was electric from the moment the parade stepped off near Monument Square and moved through Congress Street toward Deering Oaks Park, where the celebration continued with music, entertainment, and an incredible festival atmosphere.

This year’s Pride Parade is going to be even more unforgettable and bring that unrelenting spirit back to the city.

If you’ve never experienced Pride Portland before, make this the year you show up. Whether you’re part of the LGBTQ+ community or simply someone who believes in love, equality, and humanity, you will leave inspired.

As someone who stood in that crowd last year and felt the heartbeat of this community personally, I can tell you this: you don’t just watch Pride Portland, you truly become part of it.
