Norah Jones Is Headed To Portland, Maine This Summer
Remember the songs "Come Away With Me" and "Don't Know Why"? The first release, "Come Away With Me," and album of the same name was Norah Jones' debut onto the world stage of music, and the record that won us over to her soft voice and sultry lullabies. The Grammy award winning singer and pianist is coming to New England this summer. She'll be at Thompsons Point in Portland, Maine on Wednesday, July 22nd, 2020 at 7:30 p.m. according to the State Theatre's website. Mavis Staples will be opening for Jones. The State describes Staples as one of America’s "defining voices of freedom and peace."
The State Theatre is presenting her concert. It is being billed as a show for all ages. Tickets are $55 in advance, and $60 on the day of the show. Children three and under will get in free.
