Nikki Turns A Fashion Faux Pas Into A Win

I'm still learning the nuances of New England fashion. It comes easy for someone who grew up here, but not for a Florida girl… Not to say Floridians don't wear plaid. I just didn't wear it.

The first time I wore my new plaid shirt, I wore it with a colorful Christmas sweater underneath. This, I was told, was a fashion faux pas. I really had no clue, as it was the first flannel clothing I had ever owned. Luckily for me, our HOM listeners set me straight about the proper way to wear plaid.

The results of the poll (above) I posted on Facebook indicate that I got it right on my second try. Finally!
