It's always exciting to see contestants from Northern New England competing on a nationally televised games show. And last night, a man from New Hampshire made the Granite State proud in  front of millions of viewers across the country.

SATHVIK NAMBURAR competed on Jeopardy last night, and did pretty well for himself. In fact, he won, raking in $27,201. The big question is, will he be able to do it again tonight, and get a streak going?

Sathvik is a Medical student at Dartmouth Medical School in Lebanon. Here's a little bit about him, from his Linkedin profile:

Excellent work ethic supported by superior academic performance, holds leadership positions in several organizations, Interested in pursuing a medical education with the goal of providing services to the under-served. Has experience in academic and public health research. Active community volunteer and leader. US Presidential Scholar 2014 and valedictorian.

I wouldn't say that I'm a huge Jeopardy fan, but I'll tune in every once in a while. The problem for me is that most of the questions are far beyond my level of intelligence. But it's interesting to watch people who know so much about so many different things.

Best of luck to Sathvik!
