A 20-year-old teacher from Claremont, NH has been eliminated from American Idol. Last night, Evelyn Cormier sang Kansas' "Dust in the Wind" during the first live show of the season in front of judges Katy Perry, Luke Bryan and Lionel Richie.

On Sunday night, Cormier sang "The Middle" by Jimmy Eat World during the Top 14 round. Watch:

Cormier was very gracious about "facing rejection" on Facebook. She thanked the judges and her fans for believing in her and said her journey has been "fun, stressful and amazing.":

Here are the official Top 10 in alphabetical order: Alejandro Aranda, Laci Kaye Booth, Walker Burroughs, Wade Cota, Dimitrius Graham, Laine Hardy, Jeremiah Lloyd Harmon, Alyssa Raghu, Uche and Madison VanDenburg.
