New England Patriots Hire Rescue Dog As Newest Team Member
Antonio Brown isn't the only news making Patriot headlines this week.
What a week for the New England Patriots. First, the rumor of Antonio Brown became reality in near-record time. Gronk has hinted at some sort of a return (most definitely a well timed PR stunt) in week 14. They absolutely owned the Pittsburgh Steelers, to the point commentator Al Michaels was openly laughing at them. New England continues to plow toward Super Bowl destiny with another key hire.
Boyd. The newest field crew member.
According to NECN, the five and a half year old is a border collie/husky mix. His main game is to chase geese to keep the team's field in pristine shape, according to a post on the Gillette Stadium Twitter account. They also noted Boyd gets a 12/10 rating as "the GOAT field crew member."
Boyd was born on Valentine's Day, which falls shortly after the New England Patriots...
Naaaah, i'm not going to jinx it :)
