A New England company has come up with a unique way to raise money for a great charity, and you can help with a very simple gesture. According to HuffPost, Life Is Good, a New England based clothing line, will donate $1 to charity for every person who posts something encouraging on social media, along with the hashtag, "SomethingGood". From now through November, they'll donate up to one million dollars if a million people post. Your post doesn't have to be elaborate...just something positive or encouraging. Make sure to include #SomethingGood so your post gets counted. The initiative is to celebrate their 25th year in business. All money raised with go to the Life Is Good Children's Foundation, which helps victims of early childhood trauma.

Life is Good is on a mission to spread happiness and optimism and make the world a better place. They donate 10 percent of net profits to the Life is Good Kids Foundation to help children overcome the negative impact of trauma, poverty and violence. Every night at the dinner table, Life is Good founders Bert and John Jacobs’ mother, Joan, would say, “Tell me something good that happened today.” Inspired by their mom, and in honor of the brand’s 25th anniversary, they’re encouraging others to do the same. For each #SomethingGood shared, $1 (up to $1 million, through 11/30/19 at 11:59 p.m. EST) will be donated to help kids in need. Learn more and share your #SomethingGood here.

I think this is such a great idea! Will you be participating? Head to the HuffPost article to see video of the owners of Life Is Good asking some random people on the street in Boston to tell them something good, and also explain the #SomethingGood program in more detail.
