Maine Needhams Festival Returns For a Sweet 3rd Year

One of Maine’s favorite treats is a sweet that has been around since the 1800s. It’s a delicious chocolate-covered bar filled with coconut and a special ingredient of mashed potato's.

It’s a candy that is well-known throughout Maine and beyond as Needhams.

If you are a fan, you will want to mark your calendars for the Maine Needham Festival, back for it’s third year and sweeter then ever. Happening on Saturday, September 27th from 10:00am-3:00pm at the Maine Tasting Center in the beautiful town of Wiscasset.

It’s a festival that has evolved into an event that many people look forward to each year because it couples Maine’s humble history with this legendary candy.

Needhams have been curing people’s taste buds for over a century now.

You’ll fill up on locally made Needhams, along with local crafters, music, food trucks and plenty of activities for the kids. It truly is the perfect little small town festival.
