My Weekend at the Happiest Place On Earth!
Teddy and Sandra finally gave me a weekend off... well, I sorta told them I was going to Disney World for a weekend getaway. I went down to visit one of my closest friends, Chris, who works there. He took me to three parks in one day - Animal Kingdom, Epcot, and Magic Kingdom. It was a whirlwind tour of the happiest place on Earth.
Since Chris works there, I was able to learn some pretty neat things about Disney World.
- Animal Kingdom is the largest park - the other three can fit inside with room to spare!
- Epcot's ride -Test Track - broke a record for the longest wait time for a ride on New Year's Eve... people waited over 300 minutes to get on!
- The entrance to Magic Kingdom is designed to hide the park from view - like a curtain - and when you walk through the gates that is when Main Street and Cinderella's Castle appear.
- At Hollywood Studios on the Aerosmith's Rock 'n' Roller Coaster - they have real instruments that Aerosmith actually played on tour!
