According to a new study by the Daily Mirror, about four out of 10 people say it's very difficult to predict someone's age just by looking at them, especially if it's a photo. The study was conducted by the dating company Lumen as part of its anti-ageism mission.

I, on the other hand, am very good at predicting ages. I've been able to do this since I was a teenager, and I'm not sure how or why I started doing it. Until I moved to Maine, I never revealed the secret to how I can tell how old a person is… I look at his or her neck, count the lines, and then I do some quick math. It's easy for me, and I am rarely wrong. Unfortunately, this is not a "superpower" that is profitable. At least, I have not figured out a way to make money from my skill. It's also not a great way to make or keep friends, as many people don't want other people to know how old they really are.
