My Daughter Got Her Ears Pierced

...and I cried more than she did.

Any time we've ever mentioned ear piercing to my 6 year old daughter, she's never been interested. I think she's been scared of how much it would hurt. So, we never really made a big deal about it, and just figured that she'd let us know when she was ready. Well, that day came...yesterday.

Over breakfast, she mentioned wanting to get it done. And seeing as we were on our way to the mall that day anyway, I figured we may as well do it.

Through the entire process, she was as cool as a cucumber. I think I got more emotional than she did! It was a big step for my little girl...and I'm an incredibly proud Dad!
