It is well known that unless it's in a box, a bag, or a can ... I don't cook it. So when I found this great list from Good Housekeeping I got pretty excited.

Now, to be clear I do know how to cook a few dishes that are actually pretty good. But the reality for me is I am a busy person, and on the days when it's just me a can of soup, or a box of Annie's Mac n' Cheese really hit the spot.

My two favorites from the list were the following:

I picked string beans and the sweet potatoes. Partly because they are some of my favorite Thanksgiving sides, but also because it made sense to me to cook those items in a microwave if you're lacking the stove space... (you know, assuming you have a lot cooking on your stove top and you're not just a bad cook like me).

Of course this year we are spending Thanksgiving with family in New Hampshire, so I don't know that I'll have to do much cooking... which probably means i'll have to do a lot of dish washing. Crap.
