‘MasterChef Junior’ Judge Daphne Oz Makes Trip to Maine With Her Family
Maine certainly lives up to hits "Vacationland" nickname, and it's no surprise that celebrities love to enjoy all the state has to offer.
This year there's been a number of celebrities like "The Office" star Steve Carell, "Star Wars" director J.J. Abrams, and "Jurassic World" actor B.D. Wong who've made their way to the Pine Tree State.
There have even been reality TV stars like David Bromstad of "My Lottery Dream Home" stopping by Stephen King's house in Bangor or Jenna Bush Hager of the "Today" show, and daughter of former President George W. Bush, visiting family for vacation.
Time to add a reality TV competition judge to the list of visiting Maine fans.
Daphne Oz of "MasterChef Junior" made a trip to Maine with her family back in August.
In a Facebook post, she highlighted a bunch of activities her husband and children took part in, including "oystering, capture the flag after dark, farm visits, fishing, beaching, old Laura Ashley-ing, pottery painting."
What better place than Maine to make family memories?
While she doesn't say specifically in her Facebook post, two adventures her kids got to take with her based on the photos included a trip to Smiling Hill Farm in Westbrook (to pet the goats, of course) and an iconic Maine location, L.L. Bean in Freeport.
Daphne was a new judge on the 2022 season of "MasterChef Junior," joining Gordon Ramsay and Aaron Sanchez.
You can watch her in a clip from the show helping the little chefs out in making pizzas.
She was also a host of cooking-themed talk show "The Chew" and even made a special guest appearance on "MasterChef."
Wonder what her favorite Maine foods are?
We all love Maine and the many, many incredible people, places, and things it has to offer. And we can certainly guarantee that there will be more famous people hitting up our state in the months and years to come.
After all, it's Maine, the way life should be.
