No one really enjoys clearing their driveway of snow. No matter whether you're plowing, snowblowing or worse, shoveling, there are much better things we'd all like to be doing than pushing and lifting snow.

That dread may cause many of us to decide to just push all that snow out into the street because why not? The plow is going to come by anyway and take of it right? The Cumberland Police Department are reminding people on their Facebook page that it's against state law to do that.

Pushing snow into the street or across the street no matter what method you use is against the law because it could cause a dangerous hazard to cars on the roadway. Cumberland Police also remind you If you get caught you'll pay the price. "To avoid making a $205 donation to the state violations bureau, please do not blow, plow, or shovel snow into our streets and roads."
