Make-A-Wish Helps 10-Year-Old Maine Boy Be A Super Hero For A Day
The Make-A-Wish Foundation has been making dreams come true for children with life threatening conditions for years. Last weekend, it did just that for a Falmouth boy.
Portland Press Herald, Sawyer Fish, 10, a fifth grader at Falmouth Elementary School, has a rare form of epilepsy. He's been fascinated with superheroes since he was two years old. So the Make-A-Wish Foundation teamed with the Falmouth Police Department to make him a superhero for a day.
He freed police officers who were being held hostage by someone playing an evil mime. Then he rescued more people at the Portland Amtrack station. He then wrapped his day up at Hadlock field, where he rescued Slugger the Sea Dog.
