Maine’s Most Iconic Restaurant Is…

Pure Wow has a list of the most iconic restaurants from every state. I've been to two...Maine's and Louisiana's. 

Maine is a pretty foodie state. But of all the places in Maine, which is considered our most iconic? According to Pure Wow, it's Red's in Wiscasset.

According to Pure Wow:

Maine has tons of lobster joints, but none quite like Red’s, a little shack that has stood on Route 1 in Wiscasset since 1954. Come for the lobster roll, and plenty of character.

That's true. But...is it Maine's most iconic? Did Pure Wow get it right?

Of all the states, I have only been to two of the restaurants. The one in Louisiana Cafe Du Monde and Red's! I feel like I'm missing out.
