Mainer Biking Cross Country To Raise Money For Local Children’s Hospital
Here's a great story about a local guy doing something big for a great cause! According to the Portland Press Herald, James Dobson, originally from Berwick, Maine and now a New Hampshire resident, is embarking on a round trip cross country tour on a recumbent bicycle. Those are the kind of bikes you ride in a laid back, reclining position. Sounds like quite the journey, huh? So why is he doing it? It's for a really good cause. You see, James is doing this to raise money for Children’s Hospital at Dartmouth-Hitchcock, also known as CHaD. His goal is to raise $10,000 for the hospital.
Here's the Facebook page for his tour, and here's the official website.
