Maine War Hero Travis Mills Names Baby After Medics Who Saved Him
Travis Mills is a quadruple amputee and war hero who was critically injured and lost parts of all four of his limbs in an Afghanistan explosion in 2012. AJ and Nikki had the pleasure of interviewing him earlier this year, when he told HOM about his nonprofit organization, The Travis Mills Foundation.
Travis and his wife, Kelsey, who live in Manchester, Maine, just had their second child. According to WMTW, they named the baby boy Dax, after the medics who saved his life. Dax is a combination of Daniel and Alex.
