Boothbay Harbor Shipyard in Boothbay Harbor, Maine has won the contract for a restoration project on the schooner Ernestina-Morrissey, the official tall ship of the commonwealth of Massachusetts.

The 112 foot schooner was launched in Essex, Massachusetts in 1894. The Massachusetts Department of Conservation and Recreation has granted the Boothbay Harbor company the $ 6 million dollar project. The shipyard was founded more than 135 years ago. The Boothbay Harbor Shipyard claims, " Its 700-ton marine railway has braced tall ships, super yachts, tugboats, fishing trawlers, Coast Guard vessels and other service craft such as passenger boats and ferries."
