Everybody is afraid of something.

For real. I don't think there's anyone out there who's truly afraid of nothing. Even the biggest, scariest, meanest looking people have something in their back pocket that they don't want anyone to know about. For me, it's talking to people I don't know. I don't even like ordering a pizza. Oh, and I hate looking up at tall things.

Like I said, everybody has something they can't even think about. For a lot of people, it's often animals or bugs. I don't blame them. You can't control what they do, and they aren't the least bit predictable. And of all the creepy crawly things out there, spiders are presumably at the top of the list.

So what do you do when you feel like social media is out to get you?

Well, you make your point emphatically in a thread on Reddit, so that people can immediately start posting pictures of spiders and triggering the crap out of you. At least, that's what I saw happen on Reddit this morning. Someone who has true terror when it comes to arachnids decided to make their case.

As you can imagine, it didn't really hit the way the person intended. It's worth mentioning though, that the person did make their plea with a certain amount of humor, but I'm guessing it still didn't go the way they wanted it to.

Now I'm not hear to shame anyone for doing either thing. Feel free to complain, but you also don't have to be that person that has to taunt the other. Posting pics of someone's worst fear is kinda mean. And sadly, I also have to admit it's kind of funny. Maybe there's just no winning. But if you ever thought you were going to get help with this kind of thing on Reddit, I learned today that you will not.

Luckily spiders aren't insects, so you won't see one here.
