Maine Man Leaves Hospital Against Medical Advice, Now Missing
According to WGME 13, officials are seeking the public's help in locating a missing Waldoboro man.
Reports indicate that Douglas Barter was last seen around 4:30 in the afternoon on Monday as he was leaving Miles Memorial Hospital in Damariscotta, Maine.
Medical personnel advised Barter against leaving the hospital though he chose to do so anyway and has not been seen by anybody since.
We're unaware of the circumstances surrounding Barter's hospitalization and don't know if he was considered a danger to himself prior to his release.
He was last seen wearing a navy-blue sweatshirt that had a marijuana leaf on the back and blue jeans.
Any information regarding his whereabouts is asked to call the Waldoboro Police Department at 832-4500.
