Maine Creator Makes a Massive Splash in the National Face of Halloween Contest
There is a contest that has been taking Maine by storm and the state has gone full Halloween mode.
With incredible local artists, make up geniuses, and costume creators all coming together to compete for the national Face of Halloween competition, hosted by the legendary, Jamie Lee Curtis.
The contest is to benefit the Starlight Children’s Foundation.
As per the website, the killer grand prize is $13,000 and a feature in Rue Morgue magazine. As well as a paranormal hunt with ghost hunter Kane Hodder and a personal meeting with Jamie Lee Curtis and Matthew Lillard!
Nikki Hunt is among the contenders and is certainly standing out as one of Maine's only finalists for The Face of Halloween. She is an Erskine Academy alumni and has an incredible talent in transforming herself into characters.
What started with 220,000 applicants has now been narrowed down to just 14 finalists
Because of that, she has earned herself a spot in the final public-voting phase, known as the Final Bell. This will run through October 30th.

Only a few more days left of the competition and what’s amazing is that Nikki isn’t alone, other talented Mainers are in on the creepy action as well.
This means that folks all around the nation aren’t just dressing up, they are creatively competing, building fierce looks, and helping to raise support for the hospitalized children along the way.
