The next rover that NASA will send to Mars is all ready to go. It's just missing one thing - a name. And a girl from Maine could have the honor of picking that name.

According to Channel 8 WMTW, Sarah Lupien, a 4th grader at Dora Small Elementary School in South Portland, is a semi-finalist in NASA's "Name the Rover" contest. Over 28,000 students from across the country submitted essays, which included name suggestions for the rover.

Sarah suggested the name "Possibility," and now she's a semi-finalist in the contest!

I think it would be so great for her name to be chosen for the new Mars rover! To say that it was named by a fifth grader from South Portland would be pretty cool.

Do you think it's a good name? Can you think of a better name? Let us know, with a comment on the Facebook post!
