One of our HOM listeners sent us a link to this holiday tune. I have never heard it before; but then again, I'm still a newbie. Perhaps you have. It's called "Northern Maine Christmas" and it is written by Maine author Cathie Pelletier. On her Facebook page, Pelletier tells the backstory of the song: She penned most of it 30 years ago. She wrote the song to help out local charities and asked northern Maine singers and musicians to perform it in 2006. "Northern Maine Christmas" was recorded at Jamie Thibeault's studio in Madawaska, Maine.
