UPDATE: Lee Goldberg Needs Your Prayers, Juju, Positive energy. All of it.

Lee Goldberg is famous for being on News Center Maine...but first and foremost, he is a father.

And as a Dad, he has had the agonizing task of watching his son fight for a better life. In fact, when I first wrote about this story at the end of April, his 15-year-old son Connor was about to have a second brain surgery to help with chiari malformation in early May.

What is that? According to Google: Chiari malformation (kee-AH-ree mal-for-MAY-shun) is a condition in which brain tissue extends into your spinal canal. It occurs when part of your skull is abnormally small or misshapen, pressing on your brain and forcing it downward.

Lee has been trying to protect Connor, who at 15 deserves his privacy - but Lee also is a dad. A dad who was scared for his son and wanted to see if he could gather up some positive vibes before the surgery:

Thankfully, it seems things went well so I wanted to add an update. Not long after the surgery, Lee provided us with some updates about his son, so we wanted to share some of that good news.
