Lead Singer Of Popular New Hampshire Band Dies Unexpectedly
According to Seacoast Online, Jeff Bibbo, lead singer of the New Hampshire based band Groovechild, died unexpectedly on Saturday. He was found at his home in Exeter.
Groovechild rose to regional fame in the early and mid 90s, with their jazz infused rock sound. They sold over 60,000 copies of their debut album "Sick At Last."
The band went on hiatus for several years, reuniting in 2012 for the documentary "In Danger Of Being Discovered" and releasing the album "House of Life."
They had just finished recording a new album, scheduled to be released this year.
Our hearts go out to Jeff's family and friends during this difficult time.
