Kittyhawk Apartments in Auburn, Maine to Add 48 Luxury Apartments
The area around exit 75 of the Maine Turnpike in Auburn has been continually developing in recent years. Not only is it a small transportation hub with the Auburn-Lewiston Airport and a new Concord Coach Lines bus terminal, but it's also becoming an area where more housing is being built. The proximity to the Turnpike makes it the ideal location to develop.
On Tuesday, the City of Auburn announced that Sasseville Management LLC has cleared land in the area for a new development at Kittyhawk Village Apartments that will create 48 luxury apartments.
Two 24-unit buildings are in the plans and will come in three different layouts: One bedroom one bath, one bath and a den, and two bedrooms and two baths. All will come with nine-foot ceilings, private balconies and patios, stainless steel kitchen appliances, washer/dryer hookups and air-conditioning. Some will even have a garage.
No pricing or diagrams of the floor plans have been released yet, just an artist's rendition of the building. It should be ready for tenants to move in in the spring of 2023.
