UPDATE (6/17 at 3:40p): Just 24 hours after announcing that he would be postponing his upcoming scheduled New England tour dates (Saturday, June 18 at Mohegan Sun Arena in Connecticut and Monday, June 20 at TD Garden in Boston, the official Instagram for the Justice World Tour announced that due to the Biebs' ongoing health issues, it's been decided that scheduled dates for the rest of June and the beginning of July (so about the next 3-4 weeks of shows) have been postponed and will be rescheduled.

Ramsay Hunt Syndrome

Ever since announcing last Friday afternoon that he's suffering from Ramsay Hunt Syndrome that has paralyzed the right side of his face, Justin Bieber has slowly been postponing concerts. To his credit, unlike other artists in the past who postpone or straight up cancel an entire tour, Biebs is taking it day by day and playing it by ear.

As he mentioned in his Instagram video on Friday, Ramsay Hunt Syndrome is caused by a virus. According to the Mayo Clinic, that virus is the same that causes chickenpox and shingles. And while his face is experiencing partial paralysis right now, it is only temporary and he will recover, it's just a matter of when.

Justin Bieber postponed shows

So far, Justin has had to postpone his Toronto, Canada shows that were scheduled for June 7 and 8, his New York City shows scheduled for Madison Square Garden on June 13 and 14, and he just postponed his Philadelphia, Pennsylvania show for tomorrow (June 16).

Justin Bieber's upcoming New England Shows

Right now, as of this writing (Wednesday, June 15 at 1p EST), Justin's two upcoming show dates -- Saturday, June 18 at Mohegan Sun Arena in Connecticut and Monday, June 20 at TD Garden in Boston -- are still a go. Again, where Justin's Ramsay Hunt Syndrome is only causing temporary paralysis of half of his face, he could essentially wake up tomorrow morning and be fully good to go.

Of course, as soon as we hear anything either way (whether he confirms that he'll perform on those dates or if he'll have to postpone like in Toronto, NYC, and Philly), we'll pass the word and keep you updated on exactly when the rescheduled dates will be.

But for now, let's send best wishes to the Biebs and just toss the positive vibes into the universe that he'll quickly overcome his Ramsay Hunt Syndrome symptoms and be able to hang in the best region in the country this weekend and Monday!
