Jay Restaurant Gave Away Free Pizza To Cheer People Up After Paper Mill Explosion
This is such a wonderful gesture of good will after an explosion destroyed the Androscoggin Paper Mill in Jay, Maine last week: Lynn Brennick, the owner of "My Dad's Place" decided to help his community by giving away free pizza to anyone who came to his restaurant, according to WMTW.
Brennick and crew were very busy all day long as lots of people showed up, by the looks of WMTW's video.
Miraculously, no one died or was injured in the blast, which happened last Wednesday, April 15th. You can watch the video of the explosion here.
The employees and customers of "My Dad's Place" did a great job maintaining distance from each other as the pizzas were handed out, as COVID-19 protocol demands. Hopefully, more businesses will step up and do good deeds like this, as the pandemic continues to affect the economy.
