4 New England States Named ‘Least Fun’ in the USA…How?

First of all, how dare you.

And by "you", I mean the creators of this WalletHub list of "most fun states" in the United States.

Living in a fun state is important. You don't want to live in a boring state where there is nothing to do. Your quality of life would be miserable.

But what defines a "fun" state?

According to Wallet Hub, many factors went into finding the most and least fun states, including restaurants per capita, movie theaters per capita, golf courses & country clubs per capita, performing arts theaters per capita, fitness centers per capita, skiing facilities per capita, access to national parks, state & local expenditures on parks & recreation per capita, and others.

If you read the headline, you know where this is going.

New Hampshire, Rhode Island, Vermont, and Connecticut all made the bottom eight.

You HAVE to be kidding me. New Hampshire and Vermont making the bottom is infuriating.

There is so much to do in all four of those states.

Sure, we do not have Disney rides. But we have beach towns with arcades and fun spots like Water Country.

Sure, we don't have the Grand Canyon, but we have the White Mountains and dozens of amazing ski mountains.

I think the creators of this list got it wrong. I mean, North Dakota is ranking higher than NH, VT, CT, and RI?!

No shot.

Below is a map of where every state landed. New England is very light blue (almost all white).  I cannot express how incorrect this is.

Side note, West Virginia (who came in last) is CERTAINLY the most boring state.
