This is the Hardest College to Get Into in New Hampshire
Any New Englander will tell you that many factors contribute to our region's excellent reputation, including our schools and higher education opportunities.
New Hampshire, specifically, is home to 20+ colleges and universities. These institutions are not only great centers for learning, but also popular employers throughout the Granite State.
But of these schools, which one has the lowest acceptance rate? 24/7 Wall Street did some digging on the hardest college to get into in each state, and their verdict for New Hampshire shouldn't come as a surprise.
Dartmouth College in Hanover, New Hampshire
We all know that Dartmouth is an Ivy League member, so its acceptance rate is remarkably small. According to the school's official website, just 5.3% of applicants were admitted to the class of 2028 (1,685 out of a record 31,657 applicants). 24/7 Wall Street also explained that the median SAT score of students is 1500/1600. That's a far cry from this writer's SAT results (and probably yours, too).
Do you think you'd be able to beat the odds and get into a school like Dartmouth? What about Harvard, which has an even smaller acceptance rate of ~3.4? Whatever the case may be, if you're an aspiring college student, we wish you the best of luck in the application process. And speaking of schools, let's look at some other ones in New Hampshire.
