Museums are an important part of our culture, as are our children.  When a town has a an interactive museum, it's vital to have accessibility for all.

One of the programs the National Endowment for the Arts has provided (along with Blue Star Families) is a summer partnership of museums across America, which are free to all active U.S. military personnel.

The Blue Star Museum program begins this Saturday, May 18, on Armed Forces Day. It runs through Labor Day, September 2.

One of those museums offering the program is once again the Children's Museum of New Hampshire at 6 Washington Street in Dover, New Hampshire.  The museum offers two levels of hands-on, interactive exhibits for kids from newborn to middle school.

If you are an active duty military family, you are welcome to go to Dover's museum or many others across the country for free this summer.

The Blue Star Museum free admission program is available to those currently serving the United States Air Force, Army, Coast Guard, Marine Corps, Navy, Space Force, and members of the Reserves, National Guard, U.S. Public Health Commissioned Corps, and NOAA Commissioned Corps, for up to five family members.
