The Golden Corral was known for it's "all you can eat buffet."

Although I hadn't been there in quite some time, from what I can remember, they have everything you might be craving for dinner and I'm talkin' comfort food like pot roast, mac & cheese, even an ice cream machine.

According to a story on yahoo.com, the owners had been trying to sell the place since November 2023 with a listing price of $700,000.

The Golden Corral opened under strict COVID-19 guidelines.  When it opened, people were excited to be able to go out and enjoy a meal outside of their homes once again.

The restaurant was also a good place to stop for a hot, homemade dinner for the family if you didn't feel like cooking.

If you aren't familiar with South Willow Street in Manchester, it is a very high-traffic roadway and the Golden Corral was easy to get to with plenty of parking.

The closest Golden Corral now is Springfield, Massachusetts, according to their website.

This has reminded me of John Pinette, may he rest.  He was a big man and unfortunately, passed away much earlier than he should have at the age of 50 years old, according to his Facebook page.

It seems like we have seen a lot of restaurants closing lately.
