Travel + Leisure Honors Maine as One of the Most Beautiful States in the Country

We’re truly fortunate to call such a beautiful and awe-inspiring state home.

Few places offer the chance to step outside and be only minutes away from breathtaking natural scenery, but here in Maine, that’s our everyday reality. And now, the rest of the world is taking notice of the state’s remarkable beauty.

Is Maine One of the Most Beautiful States in the Country?

The folks over at the iconic magazine Travel + Leisure backed this up recently in an article celebrating America’s most remarkable natural beauty. Only 15 states were highlighted, and, of course, Maine made the cut.

That brief write-up perfectly encapsulates what makes Maine so unique. The state’s diverse landscape provides a welcoming environment for all to enjoy. Grasslands, forests, wetlands, foothills, rocky mountains, and coastlines all offer both Mainers and visitors ample opportunities to experience some of the greatest scenery this country has to offer.

Even with development seemingly out of control in some communities, much of the state remains wonderfully remote.
