Topsham, Maine, Fair Eyes Helicopter Rides for the 2026 Season

You've got the rides, the food, the animals, the music, the demolition derbies, games and more. But what about helicopter rides?

The Topsham Fair recently floated the idea of the high-flying possibility on Facebook for its 2026 season.

Will There Be Helicopters at the Topsham, Maine, Fair in 2026?

As of Tuesday, May 26, nothing has been set in stone regarding helicopter rides at the Topsham Fair for 2026.

The fair shared on its Facebook page that it was working to try to add this unique experience, but nothing has been finalized as of yet.

The fair noted that helicopter rides "would be an unforgettable chance to see the fairgrounds and surrounding area from the sky, and we think it would be an incredible addition for fairgoers of all ages."

The helicopter seen in the video shared by the Topsham Fair appears to be one with Pine Tree Helicopters, which does many tours and events in the state.

This wouldn't be the first time the Topsham Fair did helicopter rides. A person shared in the comments of the post a photo of one from 2014.

When Is the Topsham, Maine, Fair in 2026?

While a number of other fairs are kicking off in June, you'll have to wait until August for the Topsham, Maine, Fair.

According to the Maine Association of Agricultural Affairs, the Topsham Fair will be August 11 to 16, 2026.

Fingers crossed it all works out, and the fair can get helicopter rides. What a fun and different experience people could have.

What Fairs in Maine Have Helicopter Rides in 2026?

One fair that has been doing helicopter rides pretty recently is the Fryeburg Fair.

In 2025, Pine Tree Helicopters was giving rides at this particular Maine fair for $50 per person.

The Fryeburg Fair takes place October 4-11, 2026.

While it doesn't appear that helicopter rides are official for 2026, with them happening for multiple recent years, it feels like the odds would lean toward it being a thing once again.

Be on the lookout for an official announcement closer to the event date.
