Honestly, This New Maine-Based Competitive Dating Show is Actually Hilarious; Watch Episode 2
There's nothing worse than cringy dating shows on Netflix or Hulu or whatever platform you watch your favorite trash TV on (or maybe that's why we get so addicted to them... they're so bad they're good).
But this new Maine-based one really does it for me.
It's called "For Love or Lobsters," and It's the perfect mix of comic relief and local relatability.
First dates should absolutely not be at a restaurant, they should immediately be over board games. The way somebody handles losing a game will tell you everything you need to know. I said what I said.
If you want a chance with me, you're gonna have to challenge me to a game of public Jenga,. and that's just rules.
It's actually the first and only of its kind in Maine, so I think it's super cool that Teagan Wright, the host and local behind the show, has created a niche series while really incorporating local businesses and personalities.
I love how local companies are teaming up for this project, some of which are my favorite clients! It goes to show Maine's community cannot be beat, and we really do all love to watch each other succeed.
Excited to see where this goes and keep a look out as I have an idea this team will come on the radio with me sometime soon to talk about it all! Here's the full episode from Youtube:
